AR List 2006, 7th grade “Contemporary” books

This is a list of the acceptable Accelerated Reading books shown on the Marathon Middle/High School website. These books are for 7th grade youngsters.

The books are grouped by “type” of book. Adventure stories are together, history stories are together, mysteries are together, & so on. If the book title has a line under it, a hyperlink, you can click on it & “Request” it from our website. So, get your library card ready (you’ll need your card number to request books) & decide which books you want to have sent to you.

Remember, when the book shows up at our library, we’ll call you at home & tell you it arrived. Be sure we have your correct telephone number so we can get in touch with you. If you want to, you can call us at 743-5156 to make sure we have your correct phone number in our computer. Otherwise, how we call you when your book comes?

Oh, and if you don’t already have a Monroe County library card, don’t worry. Look over in the right-hand column of this page, under the “Links” heading for Parent's Permission Slip for a child's library card at Marathon Library, or click this link. Print the form, fill it out, and return it to us the next time you come to the Marathon Library, we’ll give you a card. Then you can order all the books you want.

By the way, since the 7th grade AR List is sooooo long, I had to break it into a separate list for each “Type” of book.

Pick out a bunch of books, start reading, and ENJOY!!

There are many different editions of each of the “Classic” books. So, if these links show that the book is checked out, do a regular “Title Search” from the Marathon Library's Online Catalog SEARCH page link in the right column of this page (under the "Links" caption) and try to find another edition that isn’t checked out.

Good luck!
