For the Younger Generation: 2007 Summer Movie Madness

Marathon Public Library, is showing FREE movies all summer long on Wednesdays, at 2:30 P.M. (Starting time changed on 6/20/2007)

Kids of all ages welcome!

June 20 - THE DARK CRYSTAL
On another planet in another time, the orphan Jen embarks on a quest to find the missing shard of the Dark Crystal and restore the balance of the universe. (PG)

June 27 - HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS
A muddle-headed inventor accidentally shrinks his kids down to one-quarter-inch tall. (PG)

July 11 - LEMONY SNICKET’S SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS
Three resourceful orphans thwart their wicked relative Count Olaf who subjects them to... well, a series of unfortunate events. (PG)

July 18 - MILLIONS
Two boys find a bag of bank robbery loot, and they have just a week to spend it. (PG)

July 25 - PETER PAN
Wendy and her brothers join Peter and the Lost Boys in Neverland, free of grown-up rules--while also facing a showdown with Hook and his bloodthirsty pirates. (PG)

August 1 - FREE WILLY
A troubled boy befriends a captive killer whale and decides to set him free. (G)

August 8 - THE IRON GIANT
A boy makes friends with an innocent alien giant robot that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy. (PG)

August 15 - BECAUSE OF WINN DIXIE
A young girl’s life is changed by a scruffy, fun-loving pooch she names Winn-Dixie. (PG)
