Teens Read! books

This is a list of the current Teens Read! books. Heather Doney the Reading Coach and English Department Chair at Marathon Middle/High School gave us this list. If you don’t have a library card yet, she’ll give you a form. Take it home. Have your folks fill it out. After you bring it back to us at the Marathon Library, we can give you a card. Then you can check out books from us.

We have some of these books here at the Marathon Library. Once you have a Marathon Library card, you can take any of these books home.

If the book title has a line under it, a hyperlink, you can click on it & “Request” it from our website. So, get your library card ready (you’ll need your card number to request books) & decide which books you want to have sent to you.

When the book shows up at our library, we’ll call you at home & tell you it arrived. Be sure we have your correct telephone number so we can get in touch with you. If you want to, you can call us at 743-5156 to make sure we have your correct phone number in our computer. Otherwise, how we call you when your book comes?

Pick out a book & start reading. ENJOY!!

Hello! How can an author submit to you for consideration for your list? If the title is a children's title, do you have specific guidelines? Thanks so much!

Hi, anonymous.
Sorry I haven't been able to give you an answer before this, but I've been laid up with a fractured hip since August 4th. I can now get at my computer for an hour or so per day...

The Teens Read! book listings are determined by the Marathon Middle/High School English Department. I simply made their list available for the parents and students who arrived at the library without their printed lists.

BUT...

I'll read your book and post my review here if you'd like me to do so. Check first to see if we already have your book in our system--you'll see a link in the right-hand column. Since our county is so broke right now, if we don't have a copy, you'll have to send me one to review and then I'll have give it to the Marathon Library as a gift.

Leave another comment if you're interested. Since my Comments are moderated, no one will see the information you send me.

Good luck with your book,
gobby
