The Big Pine Post Office has posted the following sign:
“As Spring approaches and our Snowbird residents prepare to head North, please remember our food drive collection barrel when you are closing up your home for the Summer.
All items collected are donated to the Big Pine Food Bank.
Thanks for your support and have a Great Summer…..”
If you’d like to donate your non-perishables, but don’t wish to drive down to Big Pine, we’re willing to collect your goodies here at the Library. Lynne lives on Big Pine and will gladly deliver your gifts to the Big Pine Post Office for you.
The needy folks on Big Pine who go to the Food Bank will surely appreciate your kindness. (Marathon Post Office is NOT having a collection like this.)
